How can I see a sample of the service?
From a cell phone, open a new text message and type "RETEXT 1" to 41411. Wait about 30 seconds for the response.

We support all major U.S. carriers.

How much does it cost the interested buyer on their cell phone plan?
Each individual's plan varies per carrier, we have no control of this. Some may be charged up to $0.10, while others have unlimited free text included with their plan.

How do I buy messages?
Messages sent to passerby are all included at no extra cost.

What is a keyword and why do I need one?
A keyword is a code (min. 5 characters long) that is assigned to your account. It is used for routing messages between prospects, carriers, and our application. Passerby will text your keyword followed by the listing ID to our short code (41411) to receive listing information, e.g. Text "RETEXT 1" to 41411. RETEXT is the default keyword in our free plan, but you can chose your own keyword at an extra cost in other plans, for example your company name, as long as the keyword is still available.

How can I follow up on SMS (Text message) inquiries?
If you are subscribed to our Premium plan, you will be instantly notified via email each time a lead comes in. The email provides you with the phone number so you can easily contact the prospect by phone at any point. All activity for each property code is available as a report from your mobile marketing portal on our website.

What are your support policies and procedures?
We pride ourselves on offering first-class support. We try to respond to email support requests within the same business day. We are here to help you with any questions you may have during the set up of your account, and any ongoing needs.

How much time does it take to setup Listings?
Every aspect of our RETextLeads system has been designed to be as easy as possible to use. You can setup a complete listing in literally a matter of minutes.

How do I update my messages and mobile web pages?
You can update your messages immediately and at any time by simply logging in and making changes to your listing on our website.

Does RETextLeads require any technical knowledge?
None at all! You will use a simple form to create your listings. There’s no coding involved. And our system automatically resizes and optimizes photos for your mobile page. You can take pictures straight from your camera and put them on the Web – no effort required!

What information can I provide to passerby?
After requesting your mobile listing, a passerby will first receive a summary via text message sent to their phone. This message can include up to 100 characters describing your property and providing contact information. Literally all cell phones can display this information. The text message also includes a link to the listing's mobile web page, which all users with iPhones, Blackberrys and other Smartphones can display. These web pages can include:

  • Property address, pricing and MLS details
  • Images
  • Property description and summary
  • Property details (number of rooms etc)
  • Additional links and contact information

We can brand the page to match your collateral. More capability and customizations can be added, talk to our team if you have any extra wishes.

What happens when a property is sold or leased?
Take your sign and place it on another one of your properties. Just remember to update your listing details instead of deleting it - listing IDs are reusable.

How do I get Sign-Riders?
Sign riders can be ordered through our partner store or the provider of your choice. All sign riders are reusable after you close your listing.
